Jelly Comb Wireless Mouse Review.

1. Appearance and Convenience

The design of the mouse is minimalistic and pleasing. There is no brand logo on the surface, it is neat and clean looks nice in white and silver combination. The silver part was glittering and fashionable.

It appears more luxurious ‘streamlined and slick’ than I expected! It can be the perfect design for a Macbook with a silver body.

Appearance of the mouse

Its slim design fits very comfortably in the hand, glides incredibly smooth. The jelly comb’s wireless mouse is very easy to use not bulky or anything which I really enjoy.

The click doesn’t require much pressure, so less stress to your fingers. Also, the slim ergonomics of this mouse allow for “flat hand” operation.

The bottom of the mouse feels a little bit like cheap plastic but the top is glossy and very pretty looking. If that doesn’t bother you, you can get this mouse!

2. Sound is Quiet

Along with being lightweight and comfortable, the click of the mouse is pretty much silent. It’s so quiet it could definitely in a silent library without disturbing anyone. It barely makes a noise when you click.

I think that many cheap mice are just called quiet, but Jelly Comb’s wireless mouse was literally quiet.

I’m not sure what the principle is, but the click feeling is thin and there is no clicking sound at all. I was really surprised at this.

Just because it’s quiet doesn’t mean you don’t know if you could click it, you can press it! It is not suitable for people who want to make it tick.

3. Battery Powered USB

When you open the battery cover, there is a USB connector to connect with your laptop or PC USB port 2.0. The little USB transmitter also tucks away on the underside for secure storage fits very nicely under the battery door.

USB connection

This is not a tiny wireless mouse, it is more of a compact full-size mouse. It’s comfortable and not too big/small. It takes a single AA battery, not included which means you need to get that.

They move smoothly, they don’t stutter and they are reliable until the battery charge runs low. the only indicator you will get that it is time to change the battery is your mouse starts acting up.

If you have a household that does not have batteries, you may be in trouble when the batteries run out. For those who prefer the rechargeable type, I recommend the rechargeable type of the same series.

The battery-powered mouse has the trouble of replacing the battery compared to the battery-powered mouse, but it does not have the lifespan peculiar to the battery-powered mouse, so if you use it carefully, it will last longer than the expensive battery-powered mouse.

4. Smart Sleep Mode

I also like that the mouse goes to sleep when not in use, and you need a quick click with one button and it is immediately awake and ready to go.

It’s very useful if you want your battery to last even longer. If you do not operate for 8 minutes or more, the mouse goes into a ‘smart sleep mode’ automatically makes the mouse does turns itself off to save on batteries.

You can reboot by clicking any button. Now you don’t have to worry about battery drain due to forgetting to turn it off.

5. Portability

It’s perfect for packing up with a laptop. If you need a lightweight mouse for travelling that runs on one AA battery, this jelly comb wireless mouse is simply for you.

The size of the mouse leads to help with portability both in actual use and connecter nests inside the mouse for easy storage. It is slim enough to be portable but seems durable/soft enough to survive in the backpack.

battery and USB

This decent product for the price you might appreciate for travelling since the USB dongle fits into the bottom of the mouse for easy storage.

Also, the visible light on the bottom makes it easy to quickly discern if it is on or off before you drop it into your briefcase or carry bag. This makes the mouse so convenient to carry.

6. Mouse’s Buttons and Scroll Wheel

Both the clicks on the mouse is smooth and quiet. Also, there was no side button that I noticed before I bought it. If you don’t care, you probably don’t care, but if you want a side button, you might want to use a different mouse.

The only thing I was observed in was the wheel. Being a ball, I thought this round wheel will freely rotate in all directions for side-scrolling. But the ball is not really a ball. Just looks like it should go every which way but it does not.

It’s actually just a normal wheel, only scrolling up and down, though it works just fine. It isn’t a big deal for me, but people who care about it seem to care, but be aware it’s not actually a ball!

The movement of the mouse pointer is light. It works fine for everyday personal use, Internet browsing, graphic design work, studying on computer, video editing, and programming.

7. Price Factor

This is important. This mouse has seriously exceeded expectations. I was really just looking for a decent economical mouse that matched the aesthetic.

Cheap mice have a lot of delays and cannot be moved accurately. That’s why I’m worried, but fortunately the cheap Jelly Comb wireless mouse I bought for the first time was reasonably easy to move.

I’m sure some people think that a gaming mouse just glows, but there are only a few delays and high accuracy of the mouse pointer.

It’s subtle compared to a mouse that is expensive. However, as I said, people who have never used a gaming mouse will not be bothered.
